Mr. Shultz earned his Bachelors' degree
in Political Science from the University of California,
Irvine. He achieved a place on the dean's list each
quarter of attendance and obtained membership in the
Tau Sigma honor society. Further, he had extensive physical
therapy coursework and practical experience during his
undergraduate days.
Mr. Shultz thereafter attended law school
at Gonzaga University School of Law. During his time
in law school, Mr. Shultz attained membership in Phi
Delta Phi Honors Fraternity and was a finalist in Gonzaga's
negotiations competition. He also qualified as a Rule
9 Intern, handling matters on the criminal misdemeanor
docket. Further, Mr. Shultz clerked for Judge Richard
Roberts at the Office of Administrative Hearings in
Washington State, participating in the drafting of ALJ
decisions.
Mr. Shultz joined the firm as an associate
attorney in 2009, practicing in the firm's workers'
compensation section.
