Ms. Stein obtained her undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge in Political Science. She obtained her law degree from New England School of Law.  While in law school, Ms. Stein clerked for the Massachusetts attorney general’s office in the civil rights department.   Ms. Stein has been licensed in Massachusetts, New York and California.

Prior to joining EPS, Ms. Hawkins practiced workers’ compensation defense in California.  She has also been a hearing officer for the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance.  Ms. Stein rendered decisions in that role, giving her a unique perspective on the litigation process.  She has since handled workers’ compensation matters from inception through Trial.

Ms. Stein works in the firm’s Los Angeles and Orange County/Long Beach offices.
